We are aware that the organization of international transport of the deceased is a very often complex process and requires a comprehensive, empathetic approach to families, knowledge of local and international laws and procedures. For our clients, we organize the complete process of transporting the deceased from Germany to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo or any destination around the world. After the initial contact by the family of the deceased or a corporate client, our professional and friendly staff will precisely present all possible transportation options, explain which documents are required by the client, suggest the choice of funeral equipment, the tentative transportation plan, the financial part, and answer all additional questions.
After the client accepts our offer and submits the necessary documents, we take over the management of the entire process of transporting the deceased. If necessary, we contact the hospital or the local undertaker, depending on where the deceased is located, we check whether the deceased is free for collection and that there are no legal obstacles to the start of the process.
The most often required documents that the client should submit to us are:
- personal document of the deceased (passport or identity card)
- signed and certified power of attorney from the closest legal family member and, as an attachment to the power of attorney, a copy of the personal document of the signatory
- international birth certificate of the deceased
- international wedding certificate
- certificate of the citizenship of the home country in which the deceased will be buried, in case the deceased has the citizenship of another country
- certificate about the burial place from the country where the deceased will be buried.
